Legendary musician Paul McCartney may have a pivotal role in the upcoming London Olympics if his meeting with officials goes well today.
“There is something they want me to do,” he said. “I’m not sure what they want me to do, I think they’ll tend to dictate it rather than me, [but] I might be doing something in the Olympics.”
One place we’ll definitely see McCartney play is the upcoming Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, where he’ll join fellow award-show performers Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. Another gig McCartney would consider this year is a performance at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. “If I get asked, I could easily do it,” he said.
