Parker Posey (“The House of Yes,” “Party Girl”) and Eric Mabius (“Ugly Betty,” “Welcome to the Dollhouse,” “Cruel Intentions”) join their “Price Check” writer/director Michael Walker at the Celebs.com Studio.
The day before the film’s premiere, the talented trio talked about the status of indie film, strange production company names, and doing the Sundance thing.
You can actually check out the film before it hit theaters on SundanceNOW at: http://www.sundancenow.com/film/price-check/944. The film is also available for viewing right now (ahead of its November 16 theatrical release date) on IFC Films Video on Demand, and digital outlets: iTunes, Amazon Streaming, PS3 Playstation Unlimited, XBOX Zune, Google PLAY and YouTube.
Here’s the lowdown: “Working in the pricing department of a suburban Long Island supermarket chain is as mindless and uninspiring as can be for everyman Pete Cozy and his eclectic co-workers in PRICE CHECK. When the department gets a fast talking, high powered new boss played by the hilarious Park Posey , everything must change – for better or worse.”
