PETA has been shanghaied by Chinese censors into cropping a racy anti-fur poster depicting a naked Pam Anderson. At least we think that's what happened. We just read the story as "Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah NAKED PAM ANDERSON blah blah blah blah."
The poster was meant to show Pam nude from the waist up, "But thanks to the Shanghai authorities, the people of China won't get to see as much of the unclothed beauty as PETA and Anderson would have liked," PETA said.
"Government censors drastically cropped the racy photo, forcing cheated viewers to rely on their imaginations." The poster was significantly cropped, and a newer version "basically just shows her head," says PETA campaign manager Allison Ezell.
"The authorities have it backwards," Pam Anderson angrily stated. "After watching newly released video footage of animals on Chinese fur farms screaming and writhing in agony as their necks are broken, I think that fur farms should be censored, not the people exposing the horrific cruelty." Truly, you can see the sneer of fury and disgust on Pam's face:
