The 26-year-old socialite comes from a long line of fashionista/jewelry lovers. She
explained to the mag, “My mother and aunt love jewelry. I have a whole box of vintage Art Deco bracelets and pendants from the last century.”
If you’re not fortunate enough to come from a wealthy family of fashion connoisseurs, then you’re in luck. Neither is Palermo, in the latter sense anyways. “I confess — I’m not that desperate fashionista. In the sense that I have always, as they say, played it safe — cautious.”
That doesn’t mean Palermo hasn’t been fortunate enough to get some perks, such as landing a contract with the Spanish jewelry brand Carrera y Carrera. “I am very glad, because the accessories — they’re the cherry on the cake anyway.”
