Justin Timberlake will be accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this weekend’s ceremony, which he will be celebrating with a performance. Page Six reports that he will be joined on stage by his former bandmates JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick. Us Weekly reports that a source at MTV said producers are “trying to make it happen” and that the reunion is “coming together.”
The last time members of Nsync shared a stage was in 2004 at the Annual Challenge for Children basketball game, where they performed the national anthem. Their last televised appearance took place at the 2003 Grammys, where the group performed a tribute to the Bee Gees.
Timberlake’s former bandmates were last spotted together at the singer’s final performance for his Legends of the Summer tour with Jay Z in Miami. Chasez, Bass, Fatone and Kirkpatrick watched the show from the VIP section alongside Timberlake’s wife Jessica Biel and mother Lynn Harless.
The MTV VMA’s will be taking place this Sunday, August 25 at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.
