It’s no secret that NBC’s “Today Show” has had its share of PR problems recently, but this one might just take the cake.

While every other network chose to honor 9/11 with a moment of silence, led by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, NBC instead chose to air an uninterrupted interview with Kris Jenner. Yes, that Kris Jenner, whose most notable role is that of momager to the Kardashian crew. So, while other networks honored the victims and heroes of 9/11, Jenner shared all of the details about her breast augmentation.

NBC apologized to its affiliates for the heat they have gotten from viewers but said, “Yesterday, we made an editorial call resulting in the September 11 moment of silence not being seen. While we dedicated a substantial amount of airtime to anniversary events, we still touched a nerve with many of your viewers…and for that we apologize.”
