Newlywed actress Natalie Portman contorts on the cover of Madame Figaro July 2012. The Oscar-winning star, who was photographed by Frederic Auerbach, opened up to the magazine about her success and being considered beautiful yet intelligent.
“I obviously do not see myself that way. I prefer ‘about beauty’ or ‘subject of desire’. One can say that about all women, whatever their life and career,” she explained. “In Hollywood, they consider me a smart woman, but in other circles, I’m probably seen as a silly actress. In America, they see me as European. In Europe, some see me as maybe a stupid American.”
Whether she sees herself as beautiful or not, Portman kills every shot with her stunning features. Check out her Madame Figaro photo shoot below.
