Miranda Kerr is the latest star to get her own wax figure. The Victoria’s Secret stunner was immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds Sydney wearing the same Alex Perry-designed gown she modeled in 2011 at the David Jones Spring/Summer Fashion Parade.
Kerr’s wax doppelganger was revealed in a manner that befits a supermodel: at a fashion photography studio complete with a wind machine and studio lighting. Madame Tussauds reports that artists had to take some 500 measurements of Kerr to get the details of her wax figure just right.
“We are thrilled that Miranda is joining our star-studded attraction,” said Hywel Mathias, the general manager of Madame Tussauds Sydney. “It goes without saying that she will be a massive hit at Madame Tussauds Sydney for both locals and international visitors alike. Given this is the first time a wax figure of Miranda has been made, you can imagine how curious everyone is to see how her beauty has been translated into wax. I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed, it is spot on, the detail is just flawless.”
