Mila Kunis landed on the April 2013 cover of Marie Claire UK. Inside, she dished about everything from proving herself to adjusting to her hectic life.
Kunis explained, “When ’70s ended I went on a mission to prove everybody wrong. I read for movies I would never do. I auditioned for everything, just to show I could do it. I needed to prove I was capable of doing things other than—forget comedy—other than a TV show.”
The actress also admitted she’s had to adjust to her busy schedule. “To say my life hasn’t changed would be a lie. It has changed, I don’t really know how. I can’t complain, nor am I complaining, but I can’t leave my house as freely as I used to. But I’ve also traveled a lot for work, so that’s changed. I have been very lucky.”
“I don’t think I can do three-movies-a-year thing. It’s too much. There comes a point in your life where you want to be… home.” She continued, “I want to explore other parts of this industry to see what aspects of it I can get myself into, so that I can.. work out of home maybe? Like producing. Then I can have, like, a life, in one location.”
