Mila Kunis, who stars in the new movie “Ted,” poses as a retro vixen for Elle UK. The actress donned a crystal bead dress from Dior and opened up to the fashion magazine about the downside of acting and being a successful child star.
“I don’t need this attention to be happy,” she said. “It’s actually a whole industry of rejection. People want the shiny stuff that comes with the job, but it can be rough. That’s the truth; I’m just the first to say it. It’s important that what I do and who I am are not the same thing.”
When asked about her work ethic, Kunis explained, “I always assume that people underestimate me. Why not? Why wouldn’t they? I have everything working against me at this point. I am a woman, I’m a child actress and I was on the television show for eight years. But I have worked really hard to prove them all wrong. It’s the stubborn side of me.”
Kunis has proven that she isn’t going anywhere; her post-”That 70s Show” successes include a starring role in “Black Swan” and voicing a core character on “Family Guy.” Check out her retro-chic editorial below.
