Michael Fassbender shows off his toned physique on the cover of the Indie Issue of The Hollywood Reporter, and in the accompanying interview, he discusses his critically acclaimed movie “Shame,” the intimate nature of the film shoot and his love of skydiving.
Fassbender bares all in “Shame” — a move he didn’t even have time to feel self-conscious about. “We moved very fast,” he explained. “We shot it in 25 days, so I kind of had to get over it and get on with it.” Fassbender also met with recovering sex addicts to inform his portrayal of Brandon in the flick. “One man had the same intimacy issues that Brandon had, so it was very helpful to me, and I was very grateful that he opened up.”
Michael Fassbender also revealed that after shooting and promoting six movies in 20 months, he escaped to Oahu to go skydiving. “It was the most amazing rush,” he said. “It’s a crazy feeling to jump out of an airplane and land on the ground.”
