Michael C. Hall‘s role as the blood splatter analyst/serial killer on “Dexter” is soon coming to an end. The eighth and final season of the show will begin airing in just a few days and the actor is giving fans a lot to speculate about.
“Can Dexter survive? Well, he’s certainly a survivor. But there are a lot of cracks in the edifice he’s created for himself,” Hall told TV Guide. “He can’t survive forever in the context we’ve seen him in. Something’s got to give.”
Hall’s “Dexter” is a character television has never seen before. He’s a serial killer yet fans of the show root for him.
“The love and affection for this character has been surreal,” Hall said. “Who would have imagined there would be a Dexter bobblehead?”
Season 8 of “Dexter” premiers June 30 at 9pm on Showtime.
