“Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host ‘The X Factor’. We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” a spokesperson for the show told E!.
“I’m looking forward to return to ‘The X Factor team,” Lopez said in a statement. “We’re coming back stronger and better than ever and I’m excited to check out all the new talent.”
Lopez has also gotten a big stamp of approval from “The X Factor” judge and all around boss man, Simon Cowell.
“I’m thrilled Mario is back for season three of ‘The X Factor’. Hosting a live show and keeping the judges — especially Demi — in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he’s coming back.”
Meanwhile, it seems the show is still looking for Kardashian’s replacement, although Lopez is more than fit to host the singing competition solo.
The third season of “The X Factor” will air this fall on Fox.
