The Wilson brothers. How far they have fallen. One minute you’re on top of the world, dating Drew Barrymore, playing Richie Tenenbaum, and tossing your beautifully flowing butterscotch mane as you canter through the glen, and the next you’re voicing Marmaduke and shilling iPhones. Not only is Luke Wilson completely irritating and smarmy in his AT&T commercials, he’s also allegedly a J.Lo-level diva on the set. Fox 411 (via Celebitchy) quotes a source:
“Luke was awful during the filmings – he would even talk back to the director,” said our source close to the TV spot. “He refused to say lines and wanted them re-written. Luke kept saying, ‘I would never say that and I will not say that!’ The staff and production teams were shocked.
“Any scenes that include Luke and someone else were shot with the actors separately. He would not do scenes with anyone, so doubles are used and the scenes are edited together to make the commercials work.
“Luke is annoyed that he has to do commercials to make money as an actor and he makes the experience miserable, because he’s miserable. It’s unprofessional and unpleasant.”
That is straight up Mariah Carey behavior there. Although where Mariah would require two assistants to hold her beverage and fan her face, Luke demands a pair of jowl-wranglers. Get it? Cuz he’s fat.

Still one more reason to switch to Sprint or Verizon or Net 10 or T-Mobile (where at least Catherine Zeta Jones is a professional!) or Boost or any other Goddammned cell phone provider than AT&T and its jackass spokesmen. Hell, bad enough we had to deal David Arquette, but this is goes beyond nominal tolerances!
He must be making at least $1 million bucks for the commercials. Still, I’m sure he would rather be making movies. What happened to his face? It’s so puffy, getting old sucks.
