Leona Lewis is spreading a little environmental love by joining forces with The Body Shop. The British singer will serve as their new Brand Activist, helping promote cruelty-free beauty products.
Part of Lewis’ duties will include being part of the global campaign that The Body Shop has launched with Cruelty Free International, an NGO. The campaign hopes to end cosmetic animal testing.
Lewis will also be launching her own cosmetic and fragrance collection with The Body Shop. The limited edition collection will be cruelty-free, 100% vegetarian and include lots of color.
“I’m passionate about beauty and I’m all about animal rights. As a result, I’m really conscious of where the products that I use come from,” Lewis said in a statement. “The Body Shop sells cruelty free, ethical products containing amazing Community Fair Trade ingredients. The collaboration is a natural fit!”
The Limited Edition Collection by Leona Lewis for The Body Shop will be available in select stores starting March 25.
