Ooh, that wily Robert Plant. It turns out that back in his heyday, he was not only corrupting the morals and values of innocent, impressionable teenage groupie girls, he was corrupting the morals and values of innocent, impressionable Swedish pop stars.
Plant claims that back in the '70s, he and the dudes from ABBA used to head out to sex clubs in Sweden to get shitty on liquor and fistfuls of 'luudes, and watch Scandinavians schtup. He says he'd meet up with Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus when Led Zeppelin was recording in Stockholm in 1978. "I knew Benny and Bjorn very well," Plant said. "Jimmy and I were hanging around with them most nights . . . There were some really good clubs. People would go to bed on circle-shaped mattresses in front of us." An ABBA spokesperson denied the claims, as spokespeople are wont to do, saying, "They've never been at any sex club with Robert Plant."
Whatever, though; right now we're just bummed out that Moveable Type doesn't allow us to insert backwards B's.
