Indie singer Lana Del Rey is captured in a monochromatic editorial by singer-turned-photographer Bryan Adams for Zoo magazine. The singer posed pensively against a mirror with her traditional cat liner and claw nails. Del Rey, whose real name is Lizzy Grant, recently told Vogue UK how she came up with her stage name.
“I wanted a name I could shape the music toward,” she mused. “I was going to Miami quite a lot at the time, speaking a lot of Spanish with my friends from Cuba — Lana Del Rey reminded us of the glamour of the seaside. It sounded gorgeous coming off the tip of the tongue.”
Del Rey may think her name alone is glamorous, but she proves she is as well in this Zoo magazine editorial.
