Like it or not, you’re going to be seeing a lot of Lana Del Rey, who appears in the latest issue of Vogue Italia. Not only did the singer just release her new single “Serial Killer,” but she’s also signed on for H&M’s fall and holiday campaign.
The phrase “like it or not” comes into play because the singer-turned-model has drawn a lot of interest, both good and bad. After her infamous “Saturday Night Live” performance last season, she created a palpable buzz and was panned by critics.
“I don’t feel any pressure from the media,” she says. “All that could be said, has been said. What wears me out is the frenzied rhythm of the journeys and of performing, trying to find the time necessary to do things that are important to me.”
For now, that seems to be in fashion, where she has been welcomed with open arms. From the look of these images in Vogue Italia, it’s easy to see why.
