Songstress and self-described “gangsta Nancy Sinatra” Lana Del Rey has a vintage-inspired photo shoot and interview in the Spring 2012 issue of V magazine. The feature follows the “Video Games” singer’s ascension to fame, to which she’s still getting accustomed.
“The one thing that has really changed is that I now have an audience,” she mused. “I turn up in Glasgow or Manchester or Amsterdam and there are good people waving at me from the crowd… Someone showed me their ticket stub and asked me to sign it. You know how much it costs to come and see a show? These people really wanted to see me.”
