Kristen Stewart vs. Charlize Theron vs. Chris Hemsworth – Celebs.com’s WHO WON THE WEEK

Posted by & filed under SFW, The Daily Dose (Entertainment News).

This is what WWTW was built for. Three stars, at the top of their game, all duking it out over the weekend. Thing is, they are starring in the same movie.

So even though Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth were collectively responsible for “Snow White and the Huntsman” breaking the box office’s mini-slump with an impressive $56.1 million opening (and made us completely forget about that other Snow White movie… wasn’t Julia Roberts in that?), these three won’t be sharing our crown this week.

Like the Highlander: There can only be one.

Kristen Stewart

The starlet spent the week doing the rounds on the morning shows, chatting about playing a sword-wielding bad ass Snow White and attending the Cannes Film Festival a few weeks back where she donned designer gowns for the premieres of her upcoming film, the long awaited adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s beat novel “On the Road,” and supporting boyfriend Robert Pattinson as he showed his next, David Cronenberg’s “Cosmopolis.”

Over at MTV, leading up to her Best Kiss nomination with her man for tonight’s Movie Awards, she discussed what the hardest scene was during “Snow White’s” filming.

Charlize Theron

We learned this week that even though the Oscar-winning actress has solidified herself as one of the biggest actresses of her generation, that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to challenge herself.

She got rave reviews playing the dark queen in “Snow White and the Huntsman” (and we can’t wait to see her next week in the maybe-Alien-prequel, “Prometheus”), but that may not be the last we’ll see her in a medieval setting. If she had her way, she’d jump into the “Game of Thrones” world.

And in “she’s into that, too!?!?” news: Theron is developing a modern day retelling of the Hatfields and McCoys for an ABC series. This coming off the mindboggling success of the Kevin Costner/Bill Paxton History Channel mini-series on the feuding families that aired last week.

But her biggest challenge coming up isn’t the adoption of her son, but if she’ll let Kristen Stewart babysit.

Chris Hemsworth

With “The Avengers” now at the #3 top grossing domestic film of all time (passing $540 million), Chris Hemsworth is dominating the box office as both Thor and a Huntsman.

But, it didn’t come easy, as he revealed on the red carpet, Kristen Stewart punched him while shooting a scene for “Snow White.”

He also took time out this week to talk about “Thor 2.”

But our biggest insight was what he told Esquire UK, that is, the advice Matt Damon likes to dish out on the realities of fatherhood.

And the winner is…

These three have had not just good weeks, but a great month of May. However, showing she can do more than the brooding Bella, we have to give KStew the nod.

With her performance as Snow White and her upcoming projects, including campaigning to be cast in the upcoming “East of Eden” project, there really seems to be no limit to what she can do.

But, for now, what we want to know is, if she and Patts win Best Kiss at the Movie Awards tonight, will they show a little PDA? Is that too cool, or too gross?
