The names and numbers are starting to trickle in on celebrities with New Year’s Eve appearances. Kim Kardashian is the queen of them all so far, earning up to $600,000 for multiple appearances at Tao in Las Vegas. Fergie isn’t doing too shabby, either: she’ll earn $100,000 for a show at 1Oak at the Mirage Hotel and Casino, also in Sin City.
One famous face you won’t be seeing on a New Year’s Eve marquee is Mariah Carey. After reportedly looking for a $500,000 gig in which the star would sing a few songs, Carey’s rep said, “She’s not doing any New Year events. She’ll be in Aspen with her family.”
Other celebs who haven’t yet inked deals for New Year’s Eve appearances include Katy Perry, who was looking for $250,000 without any performances, and Ashton Kutcher, who received several “big offers” but declined them all.
