Kid Rock is truly an “American Badass”: he’s just raised over $375,000 for charity through his 12-date Care tour. The musician announced that proceeds from these live shows would benefit charitable organizations via the Kid Rock Foundation.
“We’re going to show Detroit in a different light,” he said in September when talking about the Care tour. “Even though we don’t have a lot in Detroit and Michigan, we’re going to give a little bit of what we do have.”
Kid Rock’s final stop on the Care tour is in Boise, Idaho on Dec. 4. Shortly thereafter, he’ll perform as a part of the lineup for the Dec. 11 TV special “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.”
