Ke$ha is getting her own reality series on MTV. Called “Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life,” the show will capture the singer’s life while she records her new album and tours around the world.
“You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that’s only a part of the story,” Ke$ha said in a statement. “With this documentary series I’m revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It’s not all glamorous, but it’s all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to My Crazy Beautiful Life.”
Ke$sha’s docu-series is actually a project she is collaborating on with her brother, filmmaker Logan Sebert. Because of their sibling bond, the series is expected to show the many personal and professional ups and downs of Ke$ha’s life, with no holds barred.
“I was working as a journalist as my sister was fighting her way to the top of the charts,” Sebert said. “Journalists live and die by the story and I soon realized that the most amazing story was happening in my own family and it became my mission [to] document it. With the help from Steven Greenstreet and Sandra Sampayo and Ted Roach I set off on a two year long journey to tell my sister’s story.”
“Ke$sha: My Crazy Beautiful Life” will premiere in April on MTV.
