When we want serious commentary about the artistic quality of music, we turn to respected critic and scholar Katy Perry. After all, her latest song has lyrics that deal with social injustice and environmental concerns (“Sex on a beach/We get sand in our stilettos/We freak in my Jeep/Snoop Doggy Dogg on the stereo”). While it’s true that Lady Gaga‘s new video for her song “Alejandro” is an unwatchably pretentious nine minutes long, Katy’s problem with it is the crucifixes on the crotch and all the gay sex in a churchlike setting. Yesterday, after “Alejandro” hit the internet, Jesus-loving Katy hit Twitter to say:
Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.
That hurt. Low blow. She didn’t really mean that, right? About the fart jokes? Did she? DID SHE???!?!?!?

Yes I don’t like the song and the music video at all but I like lady gaga this is just one of the song from her that I don’t like.
I understand people have different views about this music video, good or bad, but no one has the right to say Jesus hates someone. Jesus is purly about love & forgiveness. Katy Perry shouldn’t say anything about blasphemy of any sort if she is with someone like Russel Brand for once who believes in sex before marriage which hse has been doing. I know their is a difference between sex, religion, & entertainment, but seriously she can speak for everyone that believes in Christ. I as a Catholic don’t feel offended of any kind. I see it as another video that could be a hit or not.

Love Lady Gaga but this video and song reeks of Madonna. I am pretty sure Madonna could prove some sh*t in court over this one. I found the song annoying too lol..
Lol…Katy Perry is an absolute hypocrite this former Christian song singer, got famous because of lame song all about seeking attention and this is what her whole career is about…attention, she is lame, rude and annoying and while Lady Gaga isn’t much better, I would rather listen to Lady Gaga than Katy “all I have going for me are the big tits that the boys like” Perry, I wish she would vanish off the face off the earth and take her unfunny “comedian” douchebag of a boyfriend with her.
My thoughts:
1. As a former member of te Army I have to wonder why the video started with so many Marines dancing!
2. Does Lady Gagme think she is some sort of Steampunk Borg Queen?
3. Is thiss the start of the next GI JOE movie? I was about as slow to start.
4. it took all of about 2 minutes and 9 seconds for any semblance of a song to sttart… all else was prenup…. blah!
5. I agree she is channeling Madge… I think her vocoder is set too ssimilar. Then agin I can do a real good Willy Nelson without one!
6. When I spoke to Jesus yesterday he said to remind everyond he is just MIDRASH and if they needed help they should look that up! (Not that any moron with Religous mania would get the actual meaning!)
