As anyone who’s seen the fashion mag documentary The September Issue knows, Vogue‘s fall issue is their most important. It usually tops over 450 pages and weighs more than War & Peace, and landing the prestigious cover is a huge deal.
In recent years, A-list actresses have taken over for models on the cover of major mags, but on the 2011 Vogue September issue, models are taking it all back! Fashion icon Kate Moss is splashed on the front, and on the inside, readers are treated to intimate photos of the model’s recent wedding to Kills rocker Jamie Hince.
Kate describes the mood of her ceremony: “I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus. The Great Gatsby. The code name was GG for a while. That light and that kind of fun decadence. It’s rock-’n’-roll Great Gatsby!”
From the looks of these photos, even Zelda Fitzgerald would be jealous.
