Justin Timberlake has re-emerged onto the music scene, with promises of a new album and many more performances in 2013. The singer hit the stage for the first time in more than four years on Saturday night, at DirectTV’s Super Bowl pre-show hosted by Mark Cuban. Now only did Timberlake perform his new single “Suit & Tie” for the first time, he also debuted two new songs from his upcoming album, “The 20/20 Experience.”
The show seemed to give fans an idea of what’s can be expected from Timberlake in the coming months. The singer wore a tuxedo and had a 13-piece band. There were signs on stage that said “JT and the Tennessee Kids.” Clearly, Timberlake is taking things very old school, back to the days of big bands and doo-wop groups.
Timberlake started the night by performing his first solo single, “Like I love You.” During the two-hour show, he also performed hits like “My Love,” “Cry Me a River,” and “Summer Love.” He then debuted two new songs — “Little Pusher Love Girl” and “That Girl.” He was also joined by Jay-Z and Timbaland for “Suit & Tie” and “Sexy Back.”
