Need some inspiration to keep your New Year’s resolution to stay in shape? Well, Jenny McCarthy is here to inspire you. The 40-year-old single mother flaunts her flawless body on the cover of Shape magazine’s January/February 2013 issue.
Looking this great doesn’t come easy for McCarthy. She does yoga twice a week and then opts for strength training and running three to five times per week. She just makes sure she has her music for motivation. As she said to Shape, “I’d rather be electrocuted than not have my iPod on the treadmill.”
The busy mom shared one of her diet secrets. “My new favorite thing is my soup diet. I make a ton of nutritious ones, like butternut squash and vegetable. When I want to drop 5 pounds quickly I eat them for every meal for about 10 days.”
