Last week, the internet went cuckoo over Brad Pitt‘s interview with Parade in which he insinuated that his ex-wife was dull. Brad said:
“It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
Brad later backtracked and clarified that he meant he was boring, not Jen, but for Ms. Aniston, the damage was done.
According to a Us Weekly, Jen’s people “went ballistic” and
“They got his team involved and Brad was read the riot act — the only way you can read the riot act to Brad Pitt,” the source says.
Within 24 hours, Pitt had released a statement lamenting that his words were misinterpreted. Still, the Pitt source says, “no one believes his words were taken out of context — he said what he said.”
The same source suggests that perhaps Brad is jealous of Jen’s new romance with Justin Theroux? If so, someone give Justin a “Brad Pitt Is Jealous of Me” statuette he can proudly display!
