Jennifer Aniston is the new ambassador for Key to the Cure, a campaign which promotes cancer research. The news was announced earlier this week by Saks Fifth Avenue and Entertainment Industry Foundation.
In part as her role of ambassador, Aniston will appear in a public service announcement and in print ads sporting a limited edition t-shirt designed by Emilio Pucci.
“I’m so honored to join the Entertainment Industry Foundation and Saks Fifth Avenue in their continued efforts to raise funds for promising scientific research through EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund,” Aniston said in a statement. ”My hope is that everyone will contribute to this worthy cause by purchasing a Key to the Cure T-shirt by Emilio Pucci.”
The Pucci t-shirt will be available at Saks for $35 beginning October 1. The Aniston-starring campaign will hit TV and magazines in September.
