Jenna Fischer to Go Off-Broadway After ‘The Office’ Finale
Jenna Fischer will be making a bit of a career switch after “The Office” ends this spring. The actress will be making her theater debut in the off-Broadway production of “Reasons to be Happy.”
Fischer took to her Twitter page to announce the news.
“Very excited to share what I’ll be doing post-Office!” she wrote, adding a link to the announcement.
The play centers around a former couple who are trying to rekindle their romance, but face some funny and surprising events along the way.
“Reasons to be Happy” will also star Katie Holmes and Leslie Bibb. The play will begin previews on May 16, the same night as “The Office” series finale. It is scheduled to run until June 23.
