Jason Priestley has inked a deal with HarperCollins to release his memoir. The book will reveal details about the actor’s personal life, his car crash in 2002 and his drunk driving charge from 2000.
The 43-year-old actor will also address the hit television show that made him famous, “Beverly Hills, 90210.” The show aired for 10 seasons on Fox, had a huge fan following, and made Priestley a household name. The book will address his tumultuous relationship with the show’s producer Aaron Spelling, and their falling out after the show ended.
Priestley reportedly earned a six-figure advance from Imprint HarperOne for the book deal.
“Although I’ve only been on the planet for 44 years, I’ve lived a lot in that time,” he said in a statement. “I hope my story will enlighten, entertain, and inspire those who read it.”
The still untitled memoir will be published in Spring 2014.
