James Franco has debuted a solo art show called “Gay Town” in Berlin. The actor is showing art pieces that include paintings, videos, drawings, films, sculptures and photography. The show just happens to be showing during the Berlin Film Festival.
The title of the exhibit isn’t quite an indication of Franco’s pieces.
“‘Gay Town’ explores a variety of themes that are central to Franco’s artistic practice, mainly issues related to adolescence, public and private persona, stereotypes and other societal concerns such as society’s preoccupation with celebrity,” reads a press release for the show.
The pieces shown at the exhibit were created by Franco over a two-year period while he travelled for work projects.
The “Gay Town” exhibit began on February 9 and will show through March 9.
