Voting has concluded and the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been announced. Among the artists who will receive the prestigious award are Heart, Rush, Donna Summer, Public Enemy, Albert King and Randy Newman.
HBO will broadcast the induction ceremony on Saturday, May 18 at 9 p.m. Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming, said, “We are excited to team up once again with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for what is sure to be an incredible evening of one-of-a-kind performances.”
Each year, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inducts deserving artists who have made great contributions to the music industry. The 2013 ceremony will be different, though. This will be the first time in its history that fans were allowed to vote on the top five artists to be inducted.
