It’s Da Golden Globs!

goldenglobes0736Golden Globe nominations are out! They’re our favorite awards, because the booze flows like blood from a wound and everyone starts cussing and tripping. That, and the fact that it allows for many photo opportunities of celebrities kissing the phallic statue. We’ll be live Tweeting that crud, but for now, noms. There are no real surprises here, other than the fact that someone from Twilight (Anna Kendrick) was nominated (not for that movie, however). Then again, Twilight has pretty much saved the economy this year, so the Globes probably should have come up with more categories like “Werewolf with the Biggest Muscles” or “Sparkliest Vampire in a Leading Role (Drama)” or “Jesus Christ Who Did that to Kristen Stewart’s Eyebrows“. Those things were more overwaxed than a west side bathhouse.

AVATAR??? Gimme a break!!! The thing has barely been released!!! This is a stroke festival and a sham! The only movie up there I saw were UP and Julie and Julia (and the Meryl parts of that were wonderful!) but thats it!

Sandra Bullock for Proposal? Maybe for best asian eye makeup after Botox but NOT for her acting!

Duplicity a comedy? And Sherlock Holmes? (I haven’t seen the last one but it doesn’t look like a laugh fest to me)
