Rumors have been swirling of the show’s third season for a few weeks now. Star and creator of the show Lena Dunham, 26, recently spoke about what’s next for “Girls,” saying she’ll be back at work at the end of March.
The show’s second season recently premiered on the same night it won Golden Globes for Best Comedy and Best Actress in a comedy, premiering earlier than expected. The first season began airing in April 2011. The January premiere gave fans a smaller wait time to see the latest antics of their favorite 20-somethings.
“Girls” is Dunham’s vision who also serves as executive producer for the series with Judd Apatow, Jenni Konner, Ilene S. Landress and Bruce Eric Kaplan. The second season is currently airing on HBO, Sundays at 10pm.
