Children of the 80s will be delighted to know that the “Fraggle Rock” movie is absolutely going to happen. The Jim Henson classic just signed two writers, Jim Byrkit and Alex Manugian, on to the project.
Byrkit is the co-writer of Academy Award-winning flick “Rango” and was a storyboard artist on all “The Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. Manugian also worked on “Rango” and for the Cartoon Network. The two have already worked together, writing a spec for Disney called “Fleeced.”
The Jim Henson Co. will produce the “Fraggle Rock” movie alongside the Montecito Picture Co. While a release date hasn’t been set, do you plan on seeing this big-screen adaptation?
