Forbes recently released its Most Overexposed Celebrities list, and to no one’s surprise, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and Snooki made the top three. Forbes compiled its ranking using data from E-Poll Market Research, which asked Americans to rate celebrities according to factors like awareness, appeal and overexposure.
For reality stars, overexposure is a good thing — it keeps them employed. “If you want to be a serious movie actress maybe you don’t want high overexposed numbers, but if you’re going to be a successful reality star, you need those numbers,” said Gerry Philpott, the CEO of E-Poll.
Some 65 percent of respondents felt Kim Kardashian is overexposed — a stark number, considering that the average for all celebrities is 5 percent. See the full ranking here — do you agree with E-Poll’s findings?
