Celebs.com’s Angela Bakke went out to the Pacific Palisades to hang out with the cast and crew on the set of “Squatters,” the new film from Nickelback and P.Diddy music video director Martin Weisz. It’s Weisz’s first feature film since “The Hills Have Eyes II.”
Starring Thomas Dekker (“Secret Circle,” “Heroes,” “Kaboom”), Gabriella Wilde (“The Three Musketeers,” “St.Ninian’s II”), Luke Grimes (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Taken 2″), Nancy Travis and Oscar-winner Richard Dreyfuss, the film follows the hip & homeless of Venice Beach (known in official circles as “crusty punks”) as they descend upon an initially empty home in the Pacific Palisades. We’re feeling elements of Haneke’s “Funny Games,” as well as the German film “The Edukators” with a layering of love story on top.
