Eva Longoria made a wonderful role model and looked absolutely lovely on the cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas.
Inside the issue, the actress handed down some of the great advice the number one woman in her life gave to her. She said, “My mother gave me one piece of advice that’s always stuck with me. Don’t forget where you came from. I grew up with three sisters and love a full house. I basically live in a sorority house now.”
She’s not just a pretty face though. Longoria, who was recently photographed wearing pants that bared the term “Behind Obama” on the backside, said, “I’ve been studying the Constitution for myself but also as a way for me, as a Democrat, to comprehend the Right. I think it’s important that people who are politically active understand both sides. One of my biggest pet peeves is speaking out of ignorance.”
Perhaps most importantly for the Latina based Cosmopolitan issue, is this excerpt from Longoria; “Latinas make up the largest labor pool in this economy. I want to invest directly in their success.”
