Ethan Hawke was on hand to help kick off the Riviera Maya Film Festival at XCaret last night, and had this to say about indie film and spring breakers.
Pictured at left with the festival’s director Paula Chaurand, the festival began March 20 with Hawke and ends with a presentation of “Intruders” on March 25, for which actor Clive Owen will be in attendance. Between the handsome bookends, the fest will present about 80 films up and down the Riviera Maya, at venues in Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel and Cancun.
That said, you’ll definitely want to check out the quick interview with Ethan below. Definitely seems like he’s more inclined to be found at an ecological park than at Senor Frogs.
