Actress Emily Blunt rocks designer labels in the first new issue of TIME Style and Design Magazine since 2009. Blunt’s perfect pink-painted pout and vintage aesthetic are signature elements of the photo shoot.
Rick Stengal, the managing editor of TIME, admitted he chose Blunt to cover the new issue because “I thought she was great in ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ and you know, she’s not hard to look at.”
When asked about the inspiration for the pictorial, photographer Peter Hapak said, “I wanted to create something that didn’t feel earthy. So I asked her to imagine that she was in outer space, where she was experiencing different noises and light and trying to get along in this new space.”
