Elizabeth Banks channels Marilyn Monroe in the latest issue of Vanity Fair. The actress, who hit Hollywood in 2001, dons white body-hugging attire with a fur shawl for the photo shoot. Her retro look is emphasized with a bright cherry lip and catlike eyeliner.
The starlet talked to Vanity Fair about her career starting at the wrong time, although she has gone on to play roles such as Laura Bush and Effie Trinket, saying, “I’ve put in a lot of time. But because I’ve worked in so many different genres and with so many different types of people, I’ve managed to stay a little bit fresh and a little new, which is rare when you’re in your 30s.”
Banks’ Vanity Fair spread was styled by Jessica Diehl and photographed by Norman Jean Roy. Check it out below.
