Drew Barrymore will be hosting the 24th annual GLAAD Media Awards, which honors members of the media who advocate for the LGBT community through various means, including music, movies and television.
Barrymore is a former recipient of a GLAAD Award, winning the Vanguard Award in 2010 for her film “Boys on the Side.”
This year’s award recipients include Bill Clinton, who will be receive the Advocate for Change Award, and entertainment attorney Steve Warren, who will receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award. Other attendees include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Matt Bomer and Betty White. Kelly Rowland is scheduled to perform at the ceremony.
The first of the GLAAD events has already taken place in March in New York. The next awards ceremony will take place on April 20 in Los Angeles, and the final on May 11 in San Francisco.
