Canadian rapper Drake suited up for GQ’s first-ever issue of the GQ Style Bible. The rapper traded in his Cosby-inspired sweaters and OVO fashion for a stylish photo shoot and opened up to the men’s magazine about how adjusting to the fame has affected his music.
“I’m trying to find the same feelings that I had for women when I had very little going on, which is tough. When I was in my mom’s house, I had nowhere to go, no real obligations,” he said. “My girlfriend at the time, if she was mad at me, my day was all f*cked-up. I didn’t have anything else. And that made for some of the best music, I think, to date. Records where I felt small. That feeling is hard to capture when you’re sitting out here in a space like this. It’s really difficult for me to find something that makes me feel small.”
Drake may have a problem finding something that will make him feel small, as the rapper has become a dominating force in the industry. Check out the gallery below to see Drake looking dapper in a fitted suit.
