DeVito said, “Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together.” He continued, “We’re working on it.”
Adjusting to single life hasn’t been easy for the actor. He confessed, “It’s not something you adjust to.”
DeVito and Perlman had been married for 30 years before announcing their split in October. The pint-sized couple met in 1970 when DeVito was performing in the Broadway play, “The Shrinking Bride,” and Perlman had shown up to visit a friend. The romance resulted in three children, Lucy, Grace and Jacob, all of whom are now adults.
Let’s hope these two can work it out.
