Daniel Radcliffe was named Entertainment Weekly’s 2011 Entertainer of the Year, narrowly beating out Adele for the annual honor.
“Ultimately, there was one person who made the most sense,” said EW editor Jess Cagle on “Good Morning America.” “[He is] the nicest guy with one of the brightest futures in Hollywood. There’s nothing he can’t do.”
The Entertainment Weekly editor also noted that despite Radcliffe’s skyrocketing fame, he didn’t suffer a breakdown or “derail” like so many other entertainment figures have in the past: “He was never busted. Never went outside without his panties on.”
