Just in case you missed it, or just in case you were wondering, last night’s 45th Annual Country Music Awards won the night’s TV ratings.
Whether you think she’s pop or country, Taylor Swift emerged yet again as one of the nation’s favorite performers, taking top honors as the only female in the category, beating out Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.

Female Vocalist of the Year: Miranda Lambert
Male Vocalist of the Year: Blake Shelton
Vocal Group of the Year: Lady Antebellum
Vocal Duo of the Year: Sugarland
New Artist of the Year: The Band Perry
Album of the Year: Jason Aldean’s “My Kinda Party”
Single of the Year AND Song of the Year: The Band Perry’s “If I Die Young”
Music Video of the Year: Kenny Chesney’s “You and Tequila” (featuring Grace Potter)
Musical Event of the Year: Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson’s “Don’t You Wanna Stay”
Musician of the Year: Guitarist Mac McAnally (this win was McAnally’s fourth consecutive win in this category, so hopefully everybody is pronouncing his name correctly)
