Weíre all for charity. Just yesterday we gave a hundred bucks to the Save the Unicorns Foundation (despite friends and family trying to convince us that neither unicorns nor the Foundation are real things). But why on earth would someone spend thousands of dollars for an evening with Colin Farrell or Paris Hilton? 1 Night in Paris only costs $19.95 and you can spend every night for the rest of your life with it.
We never think itís quite right for celebrities to auction off their belongings in the name of charity, forcing some poor celeb stalker to pay large sums of money that could have easily been pulled out of said celebrityís budget for diamond-encrusted pooper scoopers or some such nonsense. Nonetheless, weíre happy that two such skeezebags as Paris and Colin helped to raise heaps of (other peopleís) cash for hurricane relief. Farrell brought in $20,000, which would be impressive if it werenít for the $200,000 for which Hilton was bought. Paris said, "It's so generous. I'm crying right now." But, alas, when a Hilton cries the tears come out of her vagina, so no one could see how truly touched Paris was. Now we just hope that Paris can take a hint from that generosity and donate some money of her own. (For the record, Farrell purchased a painting of Ray Charles for $50,000, so kudos to him.)
