Fresh off his memorable speech at the Republican National Convention, Clint Eastwood‘s latest film “Trouble With the Curve” will close the prestigious Tokyo International Film Festival. The film co-stars Amy Adams, John Goodman and Justin Timberlake.
In the film, Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout who hits the road to check out a promising, up-and-coming young player. He decides to bring along his daughter, played by Adams, with whom he is not close. The trip turns out to be a bonding experience for the father/daughter and allows them to find an emotional connection that hadn’t before existed. Goodman and Timberlake play fellow scouts in the film.
“Trouble With the Curve” hits theaters on September 21.
