Christina Ricci is the cover model of the March 2012 issue of Oyster magazine, and the “Pan Am” actress discussed her diminutive frame, lengthy workdays and how she’s remained so grounded despite being in the industry since childhood.
Fun fact: Ricci can fit in an airplane’s overhead bin. “My greatest accomplishment last week [on set] was the set decorator allowed me to get into the overhead compartment,” she said. It was all part of a game in which Ricci pretends she’s dead in different parts of the plane and has her dresser take photos of the scene.
In the accompanying photo shoot, creative director Stevie Dance opted for a retro feel, staging Ricci on a vintage motorcycle and in a studio wearing old-school eyewear and hair accessories. Photographer Gregory Harris captured the editorial below; read more from the interview here.
